Mission: Allergy created this “Public” facemask during the Covid-19 pandemic in response to the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control “advising the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus.” Individually sewn in the U.S. from our Premium Microfiber fabric, these washable and reusable masks are lightweight, comfortable to wear, and adjustable with Velcro tabs for a personalized fit. They present a much better barrier to dust and other particles than do masks made of ordinary fabric, but because they do not make a tight seal on the face they are not equivalent to N95 or N100 masks, and are thus not suitable for use by medical personnel.
