About Dr. Jeffrey Miller |

Dr. Jeffrey Miller, who is a native New Yorker, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate with a BA in biology from Queens College, and an MD from the New York University School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency in Pediatrics at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, and did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy, and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Miller is listed in the book "The Best Doctors in America," and was listed in Connecticut Magazine's "The Best Doctors in Connecticut." He is a practicing allergist and senior partner in Allergy and Asthma Associates, a group practice with offices in Danbury and Ridgefield. Dr. Miller has conducted scientific research on dust mites and allergen avoidance for the past 15 years. His findings have been published in over 30 articles and research abstracts to date, in such noteworthy medical journals as The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, the Annals of Allergy<, and the New England Journal of Medicine. He has also served as a peer reviewer for The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, evaluating other research submitted for publication on the topics of house dust mites and allergen avoidance. Dr. Miller holds two U.S. patents on methods for killing house dust mites. In 1984, Dr. Miller co-founded Allergy Control Products, Inc. (with which he is no longer associated). At MISSION: ALLERGY, Dr. Miller serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and is directly responsible for laboratory research and new product development. |
